The best morning routine to improve productivity isn’t something that can be easily dismissed. It is something that should be incorporated as part of the morning routine. For most people, it is first thing in the morning when they get up. This is one way that you can get yourself motivated.

It’s important to find a morning routine that works well for you. What does “worked for me” mean to you? Do you wake up at the same time each day? How do you feel in the morning? What is your mental state when you rise from bed? By answering these questions honestly, you will be able to decide which morning ritual works best for you.

1. Be sure that you get started early.

If you have a job that starts before nine o’clock in the morning, you may find that you are more distracted by other things during the day. By being in front of your alarm, you can get your work started on time and stay on task throughout the entire morning. Even if you have to interrupt your own sleep to get a few hours of sleep, the morning-time hours are often more conducive to staying on task.

2. Plan your activities for the day.

You don’t want to end up being so tired that you don’t get anything done. In order to make sure that you get all the things are done that need to be done, set aside some time. This will help you feel energized when you wake up.

3. Exercise.

Getting your morning jog or walk in the morning can be a productive and enjoyable way to start off the day. I’m not talking about running miles; jogging is a great aerobic exercise that you can do for quick energy and overall body conditioning. One simple jog in the morning can do wonders for your mood and disposition for the day.

4. Never skip eating breakfast.

It’s important to start the day right by getting your energy level up with a good, healthy breakfast. You can eat whatever you want, but having something on the side of fruit is recommended. If you’re not going to eat a lot, don’t eat too early in the morning or you’ll feel bloated and lethargic; eat about 30 minutes before you wake up.

5. Read.

Reading in the morning helps me stay focused because it reduces stress, which is one of those morning routines to be productive that everyone overlooks. It also makes me feel good, which helps me keep things in perspective and gives me a nice attitude for the day. Whether you read or not, it’s important to sit down and take time to clear your mind and relax.

You know that mornings you’re most productive. If you find yourself wondering why you can’t get things done or are feeling overwhelmed, give one of these morning routines a try. You just might find yourself feeling a lot more productive and happy!
